CBSE Class 10th Result 2016 at cbsersults.nic.in tomorrow at 12 pm

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is going to declare Class 10th Result 2016 on May 27 at 12 pm. CBSE Class 10th Result 2016 will be available on the official website of the board cbseresults.nic.in. CBSE secondary school examination was conducted from March 01, 2016 to March 28, 2016.

cbse class 10th result 2016Candidates are informed that a uniform certificate will be issued to all the candidates, those who were appeared for the examination. Candidates can obtain their original certificate and mark sheet from their schools.

CBSE Class 10th Result 2016 – Result Statistics

As per the board statistics, this year 14,99,122 candidates wrote CBSE Class 10th examination. This amounts for an increase of about 1,25,269 candidates over that of last year. As compared to girls, no. of boys was more. This year, 6,06,437 girls and 8,92,685 boys were registered for Class 10 Examination.

As per the result statistics of last year; 13,73,853 candidates were registered for Class X examination out of which 13,28,935 candidates passed Class X examination. The total number of schools/exam centres during Class 10 Examination were 14,034.

CBSE Class 10th Result 2016 – Pass Percentage

In 2014, CBSE Class 10th pass percentage was recorded as 98.87 percent, which was dropped by 1.55 percent in 2015. In 2015, Class 10th Pass percentage was recorded as 97.32 percent. It is being expected that CBSE Class 10th Result 2016 Pass Percentage would be in between 97-99 percent.

Every year girls are performing better than boys. Last year also girls performed better than boys. CBSE Class 10th girls pass percentage stood at 97.82 percent which is 0.84 percent higher than pass percentage of boys in class 10th examination.

Thiruvananthapuram region got the highest number of pass percentage with 99.77 percent. In terms of pass percentage, Chennai region stood at second position with 99.03 percent, Allahabad (98.46), Patna (98.10), Ajmer (98.03), Panchkula (97.97), Dehradun (97.37), Bhubaneshwar (97.15), Delhi (96.29) and Guwahati (86.55).

The first chance improvement of performance test of class 10th will be commencing in July 2016. Candidates can submit their application online to appear for CBSE Class 10th improvement examination 2016.

  • Click on the submit button
