Directorate of Education, New Delhi has declared EWS/DG Second Draw List Result 2016-17 on the official website applicants can check names of their children through the EWS/DG Admission 2nd List 2016. Parents are informed that they must report to the school on or before May 24, 2016.
Department has conducted second computerized draw of lots on 24/05/2016 for the EWS/DG category admission at entry level against the remaining vacancies Private Unaided Recognized Schools for the session 2016-17. The total number of successful candidates during the EWS/DG Second Draw List Result 2016-17 are 4799.
The applicants can check their individual EWS/DG Second Draw List Result 2016-17 using their Registration ID and Date of Birth at the link “EWS/DG Result 2016-17” in the module EWS/DG Admission 2016-17 available on the homepage of departmental website www.edudel.nic.in. Further the complete list of successful candidates of second computerized draw of lots is also available through the link “EWS/DG second draw list 2016-17” available on the homepage of the official website.
All the successful candidates are requested to approach the allotted school along with all requisite documents by 15th June, 2016 during school hours for admission under EWS/DG category.
The school can check the details of the students/applicants allotted through second computerized draw of lots on the departmental website using the unique School ID and password through the link School Plant -> EWS/DG Result 2016-17 The Managers/Principals of the concerned Schools are hereby directed to admit these successful candidates as per the department guidelines/instructions issued earlier regarding the EWS/DG category admission for the session 2016-17 and update the status of all candidates on the department website through the same link
Adjustment of “Inwaiting” EWS/DG category candidates of first round of computerized draw of lots for admission in Private Unaided Recognized Schools of Delhi at entry level classes for the session 2016-17.
As per the section 12(1)(C) of RTE Act, 2009, Private Unaided Recognized Schools are under obligation to provide admissions to EWS/DG category candidates to the extent of at-least 25% of the total strength of the entry level class.

Department had conducted computerized draw of lots for admission of EWS/DG category candidates in Private Unaided Recognized Schools of Delhi at entry level for the session 2016-17 and on the basis of computerized draw of lots. list of successful candidates to the tune of 25% of total seats declared by the concerned school management was forwarded online to the concerned school through special module generated for EWS/DG category admissions.
Since the General category admission process is still going on in many Private Unaided Schools and thus the concerned schools have kept many students, allocated to them during first computerized draw of lots, under ‘Inwaiting’ option to consider them later for admission in accordance to the seats filled against General category.
In case, the EWS Admission Result 2nd List 2016 of computerized draw of lots is conducted without adjusting these “Inwaiting’ candidates in any other school of their preference, men. Were are chances that these candidates may not get admitted against EVI/S/DG category seats in the schools allotted to them, if such schools are not able to fill the full quota of General category seats.
Therefore, in order to safeguard the rights of these “Inwaiting’ candidates, it has been decided by the Directorate to adjust these candidates and to allocate them in ether school as per the preferences of these candidates where vacancies are available under EWS/DG category. The allocation made to these candidates during the first round of draw of lots shall be treated as cancelled and the candidates have to report to the new school allotted to them during this adjustment round of “Inwailing” candidates.
It is, however clarified that in case of those “Inwaiting- candidates who will not be adjusted against other schools since the vacancies may not available in the other schools of their choice preference, the schools allotted to them during the first round of lots shall remain valid.
